Starting a business at 55 doubled my income!
I joined Happy Science when I was 37. Thanks to learning the teachings, I have overcome life's troubles and work issues, and have walked a happy life.
As I approached retirement at 55, I wanted to practice the "lifetime active life" taught by President Ryuho Okawa , so I started studying real estate rental and finally started my own business.
Discovered the key to success at a management book study group

However, at first, I struggled as I couldn't fill the rooms.
At such times, it was indeed President Okawa's teachings that showed me the way to solve problems.
I participate every month in the training of President Okawa's management books held at Chubu Seishinkan of Happy Science. When I read the teaching in "Introduction to CEO Studies" that says, "We must create an ideal and management philosophy of 'What is our company for?'", I was able to deeply reflect on my management.
(I had been aiming for "full occupancy management" until now, but that was only for my own convenience...)
I realized that I had not been able to stand in the customer's position and reflected on it. I then added to my management philosophy the idea of providing a "relaxing and peaceful living space" to satisfy customers and bring joy to the related businesses.
Instead of only thinking about our own profits, I started visiting business partners with the thought of developing together with other companies such as real estate and management companies. Gradually, I was able to build good relationships, leading to new customer introductions and smoother work progress.
Work became a trigger for rejuvenation

Sometimes I receive hints for success from my fellow practitioners (※) participating in the training together. While talking with the owner of an esthetic salon, I realized that a sense of "beauty" is also necessary in housing.
So, together with my wife who helps with the work, we started to visit various apartments and learn about the latest room designs, becoming more conscious of "beauty" in room creation than ever before. As I made efforts to refine my sense, my feelings rejuvenated and I became more energetic.
As I worked on various improvements, the number of tenants and properties increased, and all eight buildings I own became almost fully occupied. Before I knew it, my income had doubled.
This is all thanks to President Okawa's teachings. In the future, I will further expand my business and grow into a company that can contribute to society.

Loving development
Excerpted message from "Development Thinking" (by Ryuho Okawa / Happy Science Publishing) "Chapter 7 Only Soar 2 Loving Development"
Loving development
Love is something that starts from the Buddha, flows to many humans, and spreads. The "thought of love" that emanates from the Buddha resides in the hearts of humans.
I believe that the appearance of that "love residing in the hearts of humans" radiating towards countless people is the very form of development.
Indeed, within love itself, development already holds its original form. Therefore, the development we seek must always be backed by love.
There is a saying, "Without love, development is death," but this is not just a mere phrase; it means that "development itself is actually within love. There is development as a form of love.
Development is the appearance of love growing," which it signifies.
If you think, "I want to love people," it is only natural to move towards loving not just one person, but two, three, ten, a hundred, a thousand, or ten thousand people.
Your life is a limited few decades. The number of people you meet during that time is also limited. For you, living in such limited time and space, each day is precious, akin to a grain of golden sand.
To not waste this day, which resembles a grain of golden sand, and to express gratitude to the Buddha, I believe there is no other way than to know that "love wishes for development."
So, why is development necessary? It is because there is love in the human heart, that love is something received from the Buddha, and that humans are created by the Buddha. Therefore, love desires growth and takes the form of development.
Now, do you understand what I am saying? I want to express that "seeking a mere shell-like form of 'development' without love accompanying it has no meaning."
In other words, because we are trying to spread the truth, it is important to imbue each of our actions with boundless love.
