Ways to Recover from Unemployment

I think losing a job is as painful as losing one's life.
However, that does not mean that your life or value has been denied.
From God's perspective, you are a uniquely valuable existence in the world.
Why not take a moment to consider what that God is trying to teach you right now?
I have selected a prescription for the heart that you need while unemployed from the teachings of President Ryuho Okawa.
Those who have solidified the bottom of their lives through hardships and difficulties can become strong.
It is said that "to become a great person or a hero, one must experience hardships and difficulties such as serious illness, being a ronin, heartbreak, divorce, and unemployment." The reason these are prerequisites for becoming a great person is that through such hardships and difficulties, one can solidify the bottom of their life, ensuring they cannot fall any further.
A person who has confirmed the 'earth' at the bottom of their heart can become strong. They can bounce back from difficulties and stand up again.
It is important to grasp the limit of "I can strive this far against this kind of difficulty." Therefore, finding positive meaning in hardships and difficulties is not that difficult. By doing so, one can learn how much of oneself can be expressed when truly cornered.
It is said that "to see a person's character, one should observe them at their peak and when they are at their lowest point."
When one is at their peak, their ego emerges, and being conceited is the mark of an ordinary person. Likewise, crying out and lamenting when one is at their lowest is also the mark of an ordinary person.
A person who can live with a calm and steady mind during these two extremes is extraordinary in itself.
Let’s set a志 to improve the world, even a little.
Even if the company you worked for goes bankrupt, you will have to change jobs somewhere after a certain period, or you may have to start your own company. However, the achievements or confidence gained from having worked diligently can be utilized in the next stage of activity. Therefore, I want you to value diligence accompanied by enthusiasm.
So, what is the foundation of diligence? When I think about it, the word '志' comes to mind. It is an old word, but it inevitably comes up.
It is the feeling of wanting to add even a drop of love to the world, and to put it in grand terms, it is the desire to contribute even a little to the progress of humanity. It is the thought of wanting to improve the world even a little. Such志 is the foundation of diligence.
Even if your position is small, whether or not you have such志 can greatly change your future.
No one has ever improved by complaining.
Everyone, please imagine.
If the person in front of you is bright, positive, constructive, and full of hope, how many people would question them about their past, even if they had experienced illness, unemployment, failures in advancing to school or graduating, or business failures?
It is precisely because they drag the shadows of their past that people call them 'unfortunate.'
If they have discarded the shadows of their past and are now living brightly, positively, constructively, full of hope and motivation, isn't that person truly 'happy'?
What if the world were filled with people who wake up in the morning and think, 'I feel good. I will do my best today. I am not afraid of getting older. I will work until I die. I will work for the world. I will make those around me happy.'?
No, at the very least, if you alone become such a person, it could be said that you have 'eliminated one unhappiness from the world.' That is indeed something achievable.
By simply thinking positively and happily, a truly bright and happy life can unfold.
To live a bright and happy life, you must not impose conditions on yourself. You must not set conditions like 'I will be happy if I have these conditions.'
Please understand that the mindset of setting conditions such as 'If I have ten million yen, I will be happy,' 'If I can get a good job, I will be happy,' 'If I marry a good person, I will be happy,' or 'If I graduate from a good school, I will be happy' is a cowardly mindset.
Regardless of such conditions, those who are trying to brighten their lives will find a splendid life unfolding before them.
You must have the heart to 'bravely open up the jungle.' Only with such people can a wonderful new world be opened.
Never set conditions. Let’s say goodbye to the mindset of 'if only I had these conditions' or 'if only this were not the case.' From today, let’s not think of reasons like 'I cannot be happy because I lack this.' Let’s stop making excuses. Let’s stop complaining.
No one has ever improved by complaining. No one has ever become happy by complaining.
Complaining only poisons your own heart, and those who hear your complaints also become gloomy. Complaints are like poison. They multiply and cause suffering to others.
Therefore, first and foremost, do not complain.
However, it is not enough to simply refrain from complaining. Instead, sow bright and constructive seeds in your heart. Then, wonderful flowers will bloom.
