People's worries are endless. Many worries begin with comparisons to others.
One can have complexes about even a part of their body, such as eyes, nose, mouth, chin, eyebrows, arms, legs, and waist, when compared to others.
However, what we should really compare may not be what is visible, but the invisible "heart".
If the secret to making our appearance shine lies in this "heart", what do you think?
I have selected a prescription for the mind to unravel worries related to body complexes from the teachings of President Ryuho Okawa.
Table of Contents
- When the heart changes, the appearance can also change.
- By adding accents with belongings, clothing, hairstyles, etc., one can change their self-image, and sometimes, through "willpower," life can change.
- There is no need to become the "lover of the world"; it is enough to express your own unique qualities.
- Often, those who are perfectly beautiful are more attractive and loved when their weaknesses or mistakes are slightly visible.
- Even if there are many flaws, if there is a breakthrough in one area, the other flaws may be hidden.
- Fashion is one way to express oneself, and how one expresses it can broaden the possibilities of life.

When the heart changes, the appearance can also change.
In reality, when the heart changes, the appearance can also change.
I often preach this as a religious teaching, but there are aspects where people can control quite a bit from the various organs of the body to the surface and appearance through the "power of thought".
Moreover, when we talk about whether someone is beautiful or not, there is actually a difference between being "objectively beautiful like a 'mugshot'" and "others feeling that person is beautiful."
After all, humans are, to some extent, spiritual beings, and because they can sense what is "radiated" from others, whether male or female, even if they have an ordinary face, if they are lively and energetic, those around them tend to feel more energetic and bright as well. This can make them appear much better and more wonderful than they actually are. Additionally, there is not only "apparent age" but also "heart age."
Even if one cannot act like an actor, by thinking that "each person is the protagonist of their own life" and firmly grasping the mental law that "I can control myself," one can change themselves.
From Ryuho Okawa's book 'How to Deal with Life's Confusions'
By adding accents with belongings, clothing, hairstyles, etc., one can change their self-image, and sometimes, through "willpower," life can change.
Furthermore, although I am not an actor, I believe it is also important to put oneself in a kind of self-hypnosis by saying, "I am this kind of person."
Rather than thinking negatively, for example, by self-hypnotizing oneself with thoughts like, "I am changing like this" or "I am changing in a good direction every day," a certain atmosphere will gradually begin to emerge. Such things are important. (Omitted)
If it is said that "you have independent luck and are destined to be at the top," then even with just a seal, one can change their "self-image" in that way.
However, it doesn't really matter if it's not a seal; it could be a tie, brooch, clothes, hairstyle, or anything else. One can change their self-image with something, and by adding accents and changing their way of thinking, I believe that life can change through "willpower." (Omitted)
It is not necessarily the case that good looks lead to popularity, and if the content has a "strong willpower," "power of thought," or "power of sincerity," people may overlook appearances.
"The state of the heart" comes out. Even if born from the same parents and having similar appearances, if the "power of the soul" is different, they can look completely different.
From Ryuho Okawa's book 'How to Deal with Life's Confusions'
There is no need to become the "lover of the world"; it is enough to express your own unique qualities.
For those who think, "I want to undergo plastic surgery because I am not attractive," I believe it is important to have the image of "I am attractive, attractive, attractive, attractive" every day. When you think that way, it strangely starts to appear that way.
Additionally, what is necessary is the idea that "most people do not need to be attractive to all of humanity." It is sufficient to be attractive to specific people. Isn't that enough?
At the very least, if one can be attractive to family, colleagues, or someone they like, that is enough, and there is no need to be attractive to all of humanity or become the "lover of the world." There is absolutely no need to become that beautiful for both men and women. If one becomes the "lover of the world," it would be impossible to marry in the opposite sense. It would truly become a difficult situation.
In any case, it is enough to be loved by specific people, so one should express their "unique qualities" as much as possible. Whether or not the other person finds them likable or beautiful is uncertain, but I believe it is important to take oneself to that place.
From Ryuho Okawa's book 'How to Deal with Life's Confusions'
Often, those who are perfectly beautiful are more attractive and loved when their weaknesses or mistakes are slightly visible.
In the case of women who are too beautiful, creating a little clumsiness on purpose to create some gaps is a trick to attract men and also a way to gain favor from the same sex, so showing a slight weakness is key. Just like showing a glimpse of the inside of clothing, revealing weaknesses slightly is a trick to maintain good relationships while enhancing one's reputation.
After all, both flawless men and women are, in a sense, "not perfect." It is easy to think that being completely invincible and fully armed is "true perfection," but that is not the case. "True completed beauty" has something slightly lacking.
This is similar to Rikyū's tea; for example, a teacup that is slightly chipped or has cracks has a certain flavor, while something that is perfectly made does not have that level of "ultimate beauty."
Similarly, in humans, there are aspects where one might think, "If that person could fix this a little more, they would be perfect, but this is a slight weakness," which is actually their charm. (Omitted)
There are times when one feels relieved upon discovering, "Oh, this person has such a flaw," so I think it is better to show such aspects. It is also good to know that "people are not so attracted to those who have no flaws at all."
From Ryuho Okawa's book 'How to Deal with Life's Confusions'
Even if there are many flaws, if there is a breakthrough in one area, the other flaws may be hidden.
Therefore, please do not seek perfection. Having a slight gap is more attractive, and what is said to be a weakness may not actually be a weakness.
If there is a breakthrough somewhere that overwhelmingly demonstrates a "strength," that "weakness" may be hidden. When a "strong light" bursts forth from somewhere, all other weaknesses may be completely overshadowed.
For example, when thinking of a "cool president" in America, Kennedy immediately comes to mind, but Kennedy was not of English Protestant descent; he was of Irish Catholic descent and was actually a minority in America.
Additionally, although he entered Harvard University, he did not get in because of good grades. His school performance was not great, but he had significant strength in leading teams and organizing within the school through club activities, which led a Harvard alumnus who interviewed him to recommend him by saying, "His academic ability is a bit lacking, but he has human charm," allowing him to enter Harvard. Thus, it is questionable whether he got in based on academic ability, but he was able to enroll.
He may have had a slight difference in the length of his right and left legs, which might have caused him to limp, but very few people probably noticed that. Even now, he has an image of being stylish, cool, and youthful as a president.
However, in reality, he had such flaws, and he was not particularly intelligent, while appearing like an athlete, he also had issues with leg length. (Omitted)
In that sense, it is better to learn that "people can cover their flaws through effort," and that "even if there are many other flaws, if there is a breakthrough that produces an incredible light, it can shine so brightly that other flaws are hidden."
From Ryuho Okawa's book 'How to Deal with Life's Confusions'
Fashion is one way to express oneself, and how one expresses it can broaden the possibilities of life.
One should understand that "humans are originally born naked, so they are given nearly one hundred percent freedom regarding fashion." Rather, one can use that to change themselves.
In short, humans are not completed in the form they were born as babies, naked.
Of course, spiritually, it becomes about the "inner self," but in reality, to express that soul, elements like "etiquette," "way of speaking," and "content of speech" also come into play. Furthermore, "appearance" is also a significant factor.
For example, when interacting with others, the impact of first impressions is quite significant. After all, how one expresses themselves reveals something about that person. However, I believe that is the "width of human potential." (Omitted)
As can be seen with actresses, the way one creates their appearance can even change their profession. They can become a nurse, a school teacher, or even a farmer's wife. Their clothing and appearance can change that.
Seeing that, fashion is indeed a form of self-expression, and I believe it is about "how one wants to be identified."
Therefore, please think of "fashion as one of the means to express oneself."
When considering "how one's position will be when entering a crowd of others," I think it is good if your self-expression is something that others find favorable and contributes somewhat to the advancement of society.
Alopecia Areata - When hated, hair may fall out, leading to "Alopecia Areata."
In cursed movies, characters like "Sadako" and "Kayako" appear, and they are depicted in a typical cinematic form. Since the world of thoughts is difficult to visualize, they present it as if it were reality. However, even without that, there are quite a few instances in the spirit world where things take on such forms. So, what happens then is that physical ailments manifest.
For example, as something that makes women look ugly, first, there is "hair falling out, causing baldness, leading to alopecia areata." In response to this, I have also created a prayer ("A Prayer for Recovery from Alopecia Areata - Special Spiritual Guidance by Edgar Cayce") so I think some people have heard about that background, but the idea of "hair falling out and becoming like 'money baldness'" is quite a tough story for young women.
Although there are various methods like hair growth medicines or stimulation, hair really does fall out. If one is envied by other women and receives resentful thoughts, it can physically cause hair to fall out.
However, the person who is resentful may not think so, but if a part of their soul becomes a split spirit and attaches, it can lead to hair falling out and the development of alopecia areata.
This might surprise doctors. From a materialistic perspective, it is incomprehensible, so they might say, "Are there really that many psychics?" and be astonished, but it is something that has actually happened.
So, I created a prayer to cure alopecia areata and wrote a sutra, and if the person read it, within about a month, their hair began to grow back rapidly. I took pictures with my smartphone, and a lot of strong, thick hair grew back, and the hairdresser said, "That's amazing. It's growing back at an incredible rate."
In this way, when thoughts attach, it can lead to hair falling out.
Obesity - Walking is effective for preventing metabolic syndrome
The amount of muscle is greater in the lower body than in the upper body, so by building muscle in the lower body, the basal metabolism increases, and the energy consumption significantly rises.
In other words, exercises that move the lower body can burn fat and consume a lot of excess calories, thus helping to prevent so-called "metabolic syndrome."
To prevent metabolic syndrome, it is basically better to start from the lower body. Of course, there is muscle in the upper body as well, but compared to the lower body, it is only a fraction, so please focus on exercises that use the legs.
