Since childhood, President Okawa had the aspiration to 'become a person who is helpful to the world' and continued to work hard. On March 23, 1981, just before graduating from the University of Tokyo, he welcomed great enlightenment.

From then on, communication with the heavenly realm began, and he was informed that he is the supreme spirit of the Earth, 'El Cantare', and has the mission of saving all humanity.

After graduating from university, President Okawa excelled as an elite in the finance department of a major trading company.

In the summer of 1986, just before my 30th birthday, a revelation came from the high spirits of the heavenly realm saying, 'Now is the time to stand,' and President Okawa decided to resign and become independent.

He threw away all social status and future hopes to stand for the mission of saving humanity, and on October 6, he founded Happy Science in Nishiogikubo, Tokyo.
