Q. Does God really exist?
A. God truly exists. He is the being who 'created' everything.
God as the 'First Cause'
Regarding God, various studies and inquiries have been conducted since ancient times. For example, some have argued that God is the 'First Cause'.
In other words, everything has a cause.
The fact that 'I am alive now' means 'I had parents'. It is because of such causes that I exist.
And if you trace back those parents, they too had parents. Those parents also had parents.
As you investigate further, there must be a first cause. There is a cause for every effect.
If that is the case, if you keep investigating, there must be a First Cause somewhere.
This First Cause is God, as proven by some philosophers or theologians.
It is impossible for humans to come into existence 'by chance'.
Considering that 'there is a cause for every effect', it is reasonable to think that 'there is something that created this world'.
While it is a recent trend to consider this world as having come into existence by chance, from a long-term or broader perspective, it can only be described as an abnormal way of thinking.
Could humans have come into existence by chance? Could humans have evolved from amoebas by chance?
Humans can be likened to a super high-rise building.
Like a 40-story or 50-story high-rise building, they have a purposeful structure.
However, the mainstream of current evolutionary theory claims that 'humans with the current physical and mental attributes have come into existence through a chain of coincidences'.
This is the same as saying, 'Sand, gravel, or blocks and rebar are lying around, and by chance, the wind blows, it rains by chance, concrete is mixed, and before you know it, the rebar is assembled, meaning, by chance, an earthquake or something caused the rebar to be assembled, and a super high-rise building was created.'
There are traces of being 'created'.
The more you understand the complexity of the human structure, the clearer it becomes that it is not something that was created by a mere collection of materials by chance.
It hasa purpose. Everything in this world, has traces of being created.
This applies to living things as well as minerals. Moreover, for various constructions, there is a creator as the cause.
Therefore, isn't it natural to consider 'God as the First Cause'?
