The 'Heart's Guideline' written by President Ryuho Okawa is serialized in the Happy Science's official magazine Monthly 'Happy Science'. Branches nationwide also display posters, and it is widely known as the face of Happy Science every month.
This month's theme is 'The Meaning of Politics'. We asked Masaharu Fukuoka, the director of Seishinkan, about the role of politics closely related to our lives and the ideal politics.

Politics is originally a noble thing

What kind of image comes to mind when you hear the word 'politics'?

Perhaps many people do not have a very good impression. However, originally, politics is a very noble thing that creates a society where everyone can live happily while listening to the voices of many people.

The Role of Politics and Religion

Nowadays, politicians often advocate 'distribution policies' for popularity. However, humans find joy in making efforts. I believe it is important to create a society where each person can open up their life through their own efforts, rather than just simple distribution.

On the other hand, supporting those in socially weak positions due to illness or economic hardship is also a role of politics. However, in reality, human suffering is often not solved by money alone, and the work of a correct religion that heals 'emotional suffering' is also important.

For people to live happily, both 'politics that creates a better society' and 'religion that saves the heart' are necessary. Why not learn about these two at Happy Science?
