Schweitzer (1875-1965)

Born in Germany, Europe, Schweitzer was a sincere boy who studied Christianity passionately. At the age of 21, he made a significant decision.

"I have devoted my time to studies and music to elevate myself. But that is until I turn 30. After that, I will use my life for others!"

When he learned that there was a shortage of doctors in Africa, he re-entered university to become a doctor at the age of 30.

After becoming a doctor, Schweitzer finally went to Africa at the age of 38.

Many people were already gathered there, wanting to be treated for their illnesses. However, there were no hospital buildings, and the language barrier was significant. Nevertheless, he thought, "I cannot abandon those who are waiting for help," and began treating people outdoors using gestures.

Soon after, Schweitzer constructed a hospital. However, just as he was able to provide stable treatment, he was forced to return to Europe due to the outbreak of war.

However, Schweitzer's determination did not fade. For six years, he thought, "I will need money when I return to Africa," so he worked to save money and went back to Africa.

After that, Schweitzer began rebuilding the hospital and treating people, continuing to work with the desire to "cherish all living beings." His efforts were recognized, and he received the "Nobel Peace Prize" at the age of 77. Until the day he passed away at 90, he wished for the happiness of the people in Africa.
