Monthly "WiLL" August Issue: Rebuttal to Hiroshi's Interview Article "I Can Do 'Spiritual Messages' Too"

In the August 2019 issue of Monthly "WiLL", an interview article with Hiroshi was published. Most of the content of the article is nothing more than a repetition of the falsehoods and slander that Hiroshi has been disseminating on YouTube videos, but there are numerous unjust descriptions that damage the honor of our group and its affiliates. Therefore, we will correct the errors and present our group's perspective as follows.

Hiroshi claims that he was encouraged by his father, President Ryuho Okawa, to marry Yoshiko Sengen, saying, "You were husband and wife in a previous life, so you should get married," but there is no such fact.

On January 17, 2017, when a spiritual message from Sengen's guardian spirit was recorded under the title "The Potential of Actress Fumika Shimizu", Hiroshi tried to show this video to Sengen and called Sengen and her father to the Tokyo Seishinkan on January 22 of the same year. In other words, it was Hiroshi who first attempted to contact and interact with Sengen.

Later, on January 25, 2017, when a spiritual message recording was conducted to hear the opinions of heavenly spirits about her future, a spirit that entered Hiroshi, who was serving as a channeler, recommended marriage with Sengen.

Immediately after this spiritual message recording, Hiroshi said, "I am convinced. (Marriage) is probably the right answer. So, I have to choose the right answer. But, I failed once. I think that type is the type to create a happy family," and was positive about marriage. When the surrounding staff asked Hiroshi, "Do you want to get married as your own will?", Hiroshi answered "I want to get married" and also asked, "Please support Fumika Shimizu." In the article, Hiroshi denies the above facts as "That's a lie," but this spiritual message and Hiroshi's own statements are recorded and have been made public.

There is no fact that a marriage by divine oracle has been conducted in our group, nor does such a doctrine exist. Hiroshi states in the article, "My father said, 'I did this to make you marry her,'" but of course, this is not true. It is all a delusion created by Hiroshi, who was shunned by Sengen.

He also claims, "Before Shimizu, about ten people were recommended for divine marriage and made to live together," but this is nothing more than a malicious false statement. There is a fact that President Okawa was worried about Hiroshi's marriage, but that is the same parental concern seen in the general public, worrying about the future of Hiroshi, who has a divorce history.

The article claims, "(Sengen) abandoned all the work she was doing at her previous agency and rolled into the office run by the group," but there is no such fact. Also, there were no works that were canceled from broadcasting or screening due to Sengen's ordination. There are cases where appearances were canceled due to a doctor's stop, but all completed film works have been released. There is also no fact in the article's claim that "the group paid all the large compensation."

At that time, Sengen was at her mental and physical limit, and there was a danger to her life if she continued as she was. Nevertheless, Sengen continued to work from January 24 to February 7, 2017, when her ordination was decided.

Hiroshi states, "If you oppose my father, you will be called a 'devil,'" and "Those who opposed my father saying 'Fumika Shimizu is the cutest in the world' are (omitted) devils," but there is no such doctrine in our group. Happy Science is a religion with a policy of "freedom" and "tolerance."

Regarding the circumstances of his ordination, Hiroshi claims that he was initially assigned to the film department, but "one day, I was told, 'You have an evil spirit attached to you,' and was reassigned to the main body of the group, which has nothing to do with films," but this is false.

In reality, in his third year of university, he was entrusted with the script for the live-action film "Final Judgment" (executive producer: Ryuho Okawa, released in 2012), but he wrote a script about "patricide," which was not something that could be shown in theaters. Another screenwriter rewrote it, bringing it to a level where it could somehow be made into a film, and it was finally produced. Hiroshi has a habit of "starting something and then running away halfway," and he always repeats this pattern.

Also, regarding his initial assignment to the film department, which he was interested in, Mr. Eraten stated, "They made it so that Hiroshi couldn't refuse by letting him do what he was interested in first," but this is not the case. This was done as a measure to prevent Hiroshi, who lacks social skills and common sense, from becoming unemployed.

Furthermore, Hiroshi claims that after being pointed out that he had an evil spirit attached, he was suddenly ordered, "Go preach tomorrow," but there is no way he would be made to preach in such a state, and this is also false.

Regarding his time as the chairman of the group, Hiroshi claims that when he told President Okawa that he wanted to resign, he was advised, "Your job is to sit in the chairman's seat because you are my son. You have to be great from the start," but this is not true. In reality, he was completely unable to do his job and was fired.

He also claims that while he was in the position of chairman, he worked part-time at an izakaya in Kagurazaka about six days a week, but even if that were the case, the group did not approve of it.

In the article, Hiroshi claims that he persuaded his father by saying, "I will go to a place where I can work as a regular employee from scratch," and talks as if he got a job at an external company on his own. However, in reality, he was initially seconded to an external construction company in a form where the group bore the entire salary, and he boasted as if he had gotten the job on his own, living a life of buying a Benz and indulging in mahjong and golf.

Regarding his elementary school days, Hiroshi recalls, "Manga was completely banned," but that was not the case, and he should have been reading them properly.

He also claims that when he was in the upper grades of elementary school, he thought, "Why am I being persecuted by society so much?" but in reality, it was because Hiroshi had tendencies of hyperactivity disorder and learning disabilities, causing trouble to those around him.

*The above is not a medical diagnosis but a statement of Hiroshi's tendencies. In Happy Science, hyperactivity can sometimes become action and exploration power, and what is medically called hyperactivity disorder or learning disability is considered not a disability but one of the child's individual characteristics.

Hiroshi also claims, "I can do 'spiritual messages' too," but he does not understand that there are various levels of difference even among psychics who claim to be able to do spiritual messages. Although he is a psychic, if he is a type like Hiroshi, who has little faith, does not study, lacks social education, and is strongly biased, that bias will appear in the spiritual message as if it were a fact. This is extremely unreliable as a spiritual message.

Hiroshi also claims, "(Spiritual messages) are important to do 'in a way that seems like it,'" explaining as if he is pretending to be the target person without any spirits descending, but this is completely wrong. Spiritual messages sometimes start suddenly at the convenience of spirits from the other world, without any time to prepare.

In the past, when President Okawa tried to record a spiritual message from the guardian spirit of former Prime Minister Hiroshi Nakasone, the spirit of the late journalist Tetsuya Chikushi suddenly interrupted. There have also been spiritual messages in ancient languages not used in modern times or from people for whom no historical records exist, as well as musical inspirations from famous artists like John Lennon.

In the case of regular spiritual messages, spirits such as Jesus Christ, philosopher Kant, President Putin, President Xi Jinping, and President Trump's guardian spirits speak their true intentions for about two hours each, strongly convincing that each independent personality exists as a spirit. No matter how much preparation is done, it is not possible to engage in a dialogue with the questioner for nearly two hours as an act.

The article states that in 1990, when President Ryuho Okawa appeared on the TV Asahi program "Sunday Project," he was refuted in a debate with Mr. Soichiro Tahara and stopped appearing on TV and stopped taking questions at lectures, but this is completely false.

The fact is the opposite, and the program was rated as Mr. Tahara's complete defeat. Incidentally, this program was conducted at Mr. Tahara's strong request, and as the ratings increased during the live broadcast, it was decided to continue, saying, "You can cancel the later plans," and the appearance scene of President Okawa achieved a 17.6% rating, the highest ever for "Sunday Project" at that time.

Furthermore, President Okawa responded to media interviews at the "Celebration Party for Exceeding 2000 Books in the Series" (held on November 25, 2015), which Hiroshi also attended, and Hiroshi should be fully aware of this. In addition, at a lecture held in Tokyo this May, President Okawa took the initiative in media response by conducting Q&A sessions with reporters from major media companies.

Hiroshi claims, "Just by announcing that I would appear on a variety show, I was pressured by the TV station," and "My YouTube channel has been deleted three times due to pressure from Happy Science," but the TV station cutting Hiroshi's appearance part was probably the station's own decision based on broadcasting standards. Also, the reason for the deletion of the YouTube channel is that YouTube determined that Hiroshi repeatedly committed copyright infringement.

Hiroshi states about his four siblings, "From my perspective, none of the four siblings have faith," but it is not permissible to make arbitrary statements about other people's faith.

In the article, Hiroshi also states that he thinks his father, President Okawa, does not believe himself to be a psychic, citing "the settings in spiritual messages change frequently" as the reason. This makes one want to question whether Hiroshi is mentally sound.

So far, President Okawa has conducted over 900 public spiritual messages and published a series of over 500 public spiritual message books (with a total of over 2500 publications worldwide), but there has never been such a large number of spiritual messages received from such a diverse range of spirits. It is frankly abnormal to think that all of this is done through acting or pretending.

Hiroshi states about the political activities of the Happiness Realization Party, which started with our group as the parent body, "(President Okawa) wants to become the Prime Minister of Japan," and "His ideal is to succeed as a businessman and become the head of a country like President Trump," but President Okawa is a world teacher who preaches universal values that transcend ethnic and religious differences. His teachings transcend the framework of religion and have a significant impact not only in Japan but also in foreign countries. Continuing to send messages to people around the world is President Okawa's mission as the god of the earth. Hiroshi completely misunderstands the magnitude of President Okawa's mission.

Hiroshi states, "I think President Okawa created the group to become Prime Minister," as if it were his father's "long-cherished desire," but this is an arbitrary assumption.

Hiroshi proposed that during the time he was in charge of the film business promoted by our group, "Let's omit difficult doctrines and make it something that can increase young believers," but was stubbornly opposed by President Okawa, who insisted, "We must include all the doctrines from one to ten."

However, President Okawa never said such a thing. Also, while Hiroshi was enthusiastic about bringing his own tastes into the films, he failed to understand the universal value required in entertainment, which is "gratitude and repayment to the noble gods and buddhas must flow," and continued to make the incorrect claim that "entertainment and religion are different," causing great damage to our group, which led to his dismissal as president of New Star Productions.

Hiroshi claims that the family utopia, which is the doctrine of our church, disappeared after President Okawa's divorce, but this is contrary to the facts. At branches nationwide of our church, based on the doctrine of family utopia, the "Family Utopia Prayer Festival" is held twice a year, where marriage prayers and child-rearing prayers are conducted.

Furthermore, Hiroshi has stated as a doctrine of family utopia that "a person who cannot even make their own family happy cannot make the world happy," but it is Hiroshi himself who should face the current situation of being unable to make his own family happy after divorce. Hiroshi should devote all his efforts to fulfilling his responsibilities towards his own family.

However, beings called saviors like Shakyamuni or Jesus Christ lived for a higher love, to save all of humanity. Within love, there is love that transcends family love, brotherly love, and parental love.

At the end of the article, Hiroshi jokingly sends a message to his father, "Aim to become Prime Minister, and do your best (laugh)."

Does Hiroshi understand how much love, consideration, and kindness he has received so far? Does he not feel the pangs of conscience as a human being? By publicly belittling President Okawa, who is the object of faith for our church, he is hurting the pure faith of believers, which is unacceptable. Hiroshi is an excessively self-centered person, and he should know that he must atone for the many sins he has committed.
