The 'Mystery' of 'Weekly Shincho' Filling 51% of the Article with Excerpts from Spiritual Messages
(Last Update: )
Regarding the Article about Our Association in the 'Weekly Shincho August 30 Issue'
In the 'Weekly Shincho' released on August 22 (Wednesday) (August 30 issue), an article concerning our association was published under the headline 'Masako-sama's Guardian Spirit Called by Ryuho Okawa, President of Happy Science.' Regarding the issues with this article, we will protest to the 'Weekly Shincho' editorial department and simultaneously publish a rebuttal here.
The 'Weekly Shincho,' which is in litigation with our church, has abandoned fair reporting
As you are already aware, the 'Weekly Shincho' has continuously published four articles that severely defamed our church from January to February last year, widely distributing these illegal acts nationwide. In response to our church's protest, they did not respond sincerely, leading our church to file a defamation lawsuit seeking 200 million yen in damages, and the trial is ongoing.
Since the 'Weekly Shincho' is a party to the lawsuit, they cannot possibly provide fair reporting, and the editor-in-chief, Itsushi Sakai, continues to write articles about our association with the extreme prejudice of recognizing our church as a cult.At the very least, they should clearly indicate in the article that they are in litigation with our church and show the readers that it is not fair reporting, demonstrating such sincerity.I state this at the outset.
Additionally, they have published comments from Kyoko Okawa, who is a co-defendant in the defamation lawsuit with the 'Weekly Shincho,'and Kyoko herself should know that commenting without even listening to the spiritual messages is out of the question. Moreover, I would like to state that she should sincerely demonstrate that she is not in a position to provide fair comments and should not appear in such a setting.
Moving to Claim Copyright Fees from 'Weekly Shincho'
The characteristic of this article is that51% of the article consists of excerpts from spiritual messages, which is unprecedented, and as a magazine article, it is, in a sense, a very embarrassing composition. From the perspective of copyright law, this is clearly 'plagiarism' and 'unauthorized use' of the 'Masako-sama Guardian Spirit Interview,' and to put it simply, it means that our church can claim copyright fees from 'Weekly Shincho,' and we are considering formally claiming copyright fees this time.
Editor-in-chief Sakai of 'Weekly Shincho' has reacted extremely sensitively, such as immediately writing an article about the previous scripture 'The Devil's Radioactive Contamination by the Editor-in-Chief of 'Weekly Shincho.'' In this article, expressions like 'spiritual message business,' 'performance,' 'solo performance,' and 'nothing more than a delusion with absurd decorations' are used to desecrate the sacred spiritual messages, and we formally protest to 'Weekly Shincho' as a church.
It is absolutely impossible to creatively differentiate the personalities and contents of spiritual messages from hundreds of spirits, and there is no room for doubt that the spiritual messages are true. Moreover, the fact that the editorial department has taken the composition of excerpting 51% of the spiritual messages itself can be seen as 'actually believing in the spiritual messages,' and it also means they are running out of material, so if that is the case, we recommend that everyone in the 'Weekly Shincho' editorial department honestly acknowledge that the spiritual messages are true and deeply reflect on it.
The True Intent of Recording 'Masako-sama's Guardian Spirit Interview'
Our church continues to prove the invisible spiritual world through numerous spiritual messages. The 'Masako-sama's Guardian Spirit Interview' was conducted while praying for the long-lasting prosperity of the imperial family, seeing that the public is worried due to media reports like those of 'Weekly Shincho' that repeatedly disrespect the imperial family. Also, please be aware that President Ryuho Okawa clearly states that the imperial family is the descendants of the gods of Japan.
Considering these points, the expression 'crossing the line' they used is more appropriate for 'Weekly Shincho,' and they should know that they are touching on something that should not be mocked or defiled.
Against 'Weekly Shincho' and Kyoko Okawa, we will continue to clarify justice and truth not only in the battle of words but also in court. We encourage many people to read 'Research on the Devil Nesting in Weekly Shincho' and 'The Devil's Radioactive Contamination by the Editor-in-Chief of 'Weekly Shincho'' to expose the reality of malicious journalism to the world and advance the cause of righteousness.
